Rebates

You are able to claim back part of your consultation fee in the following ways:

Health Fund Rebates 

Most health funds provide rebates for psychological services.  This depends on the type/level of cover you have.

HCF provides cover for psychological services once medicare sessions have been exhausted and depending on the level of cover you have.

Please check with your health fund to see if you are eligible for psychological services rebates.

Medicare

Medicare provides rebates for psychological services for people with certain psychological conditions. You need a GP referral (mental health care plan) in order to claim for psychological services through Medicare.
